Hello, hello!

This is our nifty little FAQs page for all things #TeacupClub. If there's anything you'd like to know that you don't see here, reach out and let me know!

Some background for our new friends::

I started #TeacupClub back in May 2016 (on my birthday, conveniently) as a chat for bloggers to take part in. I thought it seemed fun and would be a cool way to meet other bloggers. It quickly grew to also be a retweet account to help everyone in the club get more exposure. After one month of the account going strong, I introduced my pride and joy that truly inspired me to start #TeacupClub: Club Meetings. The meetings are actually comment exchanges where bloggers can carve out an hour of their day to devote to reading and commenting on other blogs while the same is done for their's.

And now we're here.

What are Chats?

Chat's are something fun in the blogging community for bloggers to come together and chat about whatever their heart desires. #TeacupClub isn't a genre chat, so we chat about anything from food to blogging to makeup to what we would be if we ran away with the circus. Even if you aren't a blogger, you are still welcome in chats. All you need is a Twitter account and we'd love to have you in the club. The chats are on Sundays at 9am PST/5pm GMT and Wednesdays at 11am PST/7pm GMT.

What are Club Meetings?

Our club meetings are my clever name for comment exchanges. Everyone participating shares a link to one of their blog posts, and everyone bounces around to comment. I ask that everyone comment on a minimum of two other posts over the course of the hour because I don't think it's fair to drop your link and run without giving the others participating some love. Meetings are held Mondays and Thursdays at 9am PST/5pm GMT.

How do Meetings Work?

At the start of meetings, the #TeacupClub Twitter account will share the anchor tweet, which is the tweet saying woohoo meeting time. All you have to do (after retweeting!) is reply to it with your post link, and then check out the links everyone is sharing. Once you've commented on their blog, like their tweet so we can see who is getting engagement and who is getting left out. I have a few tips for a better club meetings here.

There's plenty of options! You can use the #TeacupClub hashtag on your instagram photos or on Twitter. I love to scroll through the hashtag on Insta, so you can score a few likes from me if you do. If you use our hashtag on Twitter, we'll retweet you to the rest of our community. You can also use it for general chatty tweets about blogging or to find others in the same community as you!
